The old oak tree died many years ago leaving behind just a lump.
The first one stretches his back, way up high, reaching far out front.
The second releases a long, slow yawn as she contemplates her jump.
The last lays softly on the wood, wondering from where his next meal will come.
All three are happy, though, biding their time, as they sit upon the stump.

My Story
My name is Carson Dodge. More than once in my life, I was driven to be someone else, to stray from normalcy and live as though tomorrow would not arrive. Contrary to the phrase "live like today is your last day", that is just not reality. However, for a short time, one could certainly escape their inner self and create an alternate
life. This site is a product of that change. Dodge is not my real name, but my pen name. It is a name that I created with my grandfather in mind, with my life interests in mind and with shavings of my real self in mind. It is an exercise in how I shape my mind. How I can live life to the fullest, within the constraints of society. It is Mind Shapes.
